Celebrating 5 years with Maryport Blues

Last weekend was the 13th Maryport Blues Festival - one of the biggest festivals of its kind in the UK, featuring a host of international blues stars. It was also my 5th year working with the festival, and to celebrate here is a brief look back at how the 'Guitanchor' * design has developed since 2007.


For those striving to preserve and develop alternative music in an increasingly homogeneous and commercial cultural landscape, the festival is a real triumph and a testament to the perseverance of a dedicated team of volunteers, especially in the face of the current economic climate... It also makes for a fantastic weekend full of beer and great music!







*5 years down, and still can't think of a better name for it...
